Urgent Care Practice Model

Our Urgent Care is capable of handling a vast majority of medical conditions. Our Urgent Care works in a unique and highly innovative manner with the hospital to ensure that our patients incur an absolute minimum level of inconvenience. BFMC Urgent Care is able to provide this service by providing rapid transfer of care for our patients by utilizing our Hospitalist team and capitalizing on our “direct admit” program in place with our preferred hospitals.

The Position:

We are looking for a full-time Physician in our Urgent Care. Applicant must have a valid license to practice in California and American Heart Association BLS/CPR, PALS and ACLS certification. Salary is depending on experience.

• Guaranteed 3 – 12-hour shifts per week, (additional shifts may be available upon request)

The Location:

Bakersfield Family Medical Center is based in Bakersfield in the county of Kern, CA. We are affectionately known as a charter city. The city is a significant hub for both agriculture and oil production. We are also home to Cal State University – Bakersfield and Bakersfield College.
